Most car seats are sprayed with flame retardants. These can be endocrine disrupters (hormone changers) on a baby’s sensitive skin. We chose the Clek carseat because it’s made with Merino Wool which just so happens to be natural flame resistant. It’s a good looking design and well thought out for infancy through toddlerhood!
Where do I put my baby? Probably our most popular question… We recommend a Moses basket! Portable, but roomy: you could waste your money on a lot less natural (& & way more plastic) playpen. We registered, received, and promptly never used our Graco playpen with the first kids. Babies hate them. This is a lightweight solution, especially if you have a pet or on the go.
Newborns have especially sensitive skin and this mat is made out of 100% organic cotton. Tiny babies see black and white or ‘high contrast’ best so this mat can help them use their eyes together as they focus on the different pictures.
All you really need is a good floor blanket for your baby to start on-track. Sturdier mats like this keep the material from wrinkling around your tiny baby! Organic cotton y’all.
Using GOTS-certified organic cotton, the K’tan doesn’t take any adjusting, wrapping, or buckling… Which turns out can be pretty annoying. So it’s a great non-toxic choice for baby wearing! It’s so beneficial for bonding and developing your newborn’s early brain experiences so we highly recommend this for every new mom!
The best bag begins with a label. You earned your title and this fun little combo of bags helps you keep it all together… The perfect new mommy gift!
If you love to decorate or looking for something with more flair, these moses baskets are great for on-the-go or around-the-house!
Unfortunately carseats are still legally sprayed with flame retardants. Mesa makes theirs with merino wool (sheep’s fleece is naturally flame retardant—thanks nature!).
This flame-retardant-free infant seat is extra lightweight at 6 pounds. If you know you’ll be out and about a lot, a lightweight carseat is ideal.
Slightly padded and water-resistant, this extra large blanket helps you get outside more with your little family! Babies need to be immersed in nature to stimulate all their senses. Having tools like a ready mat place to sit is a great way to help you get out more!
Nature is where kids (even babies!) need to be. The park blanket makes a convenient way to enjoy the outdoors with your little one!
The first portable bottle warmer makes being on the go super convenient. As both breastfeeding and bottle feeding moms, warming a bottle is important and this one keeps it convenient!
A splurge worthy diaper bag that looks so good you’ll use after that baby’s out of diapers! lol.
